Pet Grooming Supplies
Start with a good comb. Depending on the type of coat and the size of your animal, you’ll need either a large brush or a fine toothed comb. For cats and dogs, it’s a good idea to keep a fine comb around since these not only maintain their coat, but are also useful in keeping your pet free of fleas and parasites. You’ll need a few more pet grooming supplies to really keep your pet looking good. After a good comb, you’ll want to pick up a good pet shampoo. Don’t assume that you can use your own shower soaps. These usually haven’t been tested on animals and the chemicals may not even be right for their hair. So seek out a shampoo and conditioner made for them, which even with some of the fancier types (like goat’s milk shampoo) aren’t that much more expensive than your own (depending on how fancy you like to get).
Finally, a must for your pet grooming supplies is a good, sharp set of nail clippers. Each animal (dog, cat, or rabbit for example) needs their own set of clippers. You want to trimming to go very quickly and not crack any of their claws or nails, so don’t skimp on these.
